We all need a Rainbow

I Am

i am someone, i am anyone
i am everyone, i am no one
me is me and you are you
like the sun is to the moon
i am here to live, i am here to love
i am here to begin
i am here to have fun
with or without, the day will go on
what i thought will matter none
what i dreamt will fade away
like the shadows in the afternoon shade
it is what i do that matters most
no matter the cost
it is how i act, the love i share
the goodness i help spread everywhere
that is what would be remembered
for if i went on home
share a verse with you, a chorus or two
maybe my memory will live on

DARKNESS

don't be afraid to live your life
don't be afraid to be who you are
don't be afraid of what others think
live your life like you're a star
what is a star but a soul shining brightly
each of us a star in our own right, you see
there is no difference in him or she
there is no difference in you or me
the only difference is an ending or an eternity
to stop in one place or to go on forever
to have your existence erased
or to die, never
darkness, darkness all around
but if you believe, the light will be found
