Years ago, when I first started on the internet, I came with a purpose...To share what I create. I'm not here looking for love or romance. I'm here for work, business, music, art, networking for musicians and artists. That's it, nothing more.

If you're not interested in my work, we have no business together. I don't get to know folks on the internet. I tried it already, especially with those of the male gender, and it didn't work out at all. The internet is not a safe place to hang our heart or have our heartstrings pulled. We can't control anything that happens on the web, and we can't control the other person, so they can take full opportunity to do and say whatever they want. These type instances are what can ruin any online relationship, whether it be romance or just friendship. We can barely trust people in real life, nowadays, and trusting them while online is an even bigger risk. Leading someone on under false pretenses is wrong. Testing someone by approaching them under different identities is wrong. The internet makes liars out of people, and it's become acceptable by lots of folks. We all make up names and identities nowadays...It's not really a lie anymore, is it?

It's sad that life has boiled down to this. Where the sexual demoralization of women has become an occupation and a past time for men, and women have been oppressed/suppressed for so long, that we don't see what is happening to the outlook of females as a whole.

Men can feed women a bunch of lies and expect us to believe it. They can sexualize us all they want, but we still have a personal choice, and we can choose to be a lady. We can also choose to be with a man who treats us like a lady, AT ALL TIMES.

Don't give in, don't settle for those "type" guys just cause they're good looking or because they have means in life...Who cares? Money isn't everything, and the Bible says we won't find the rich man in heaven. What really matters at the end of the day is....When we know we can trust that one special person with our whole heart..We know they won't lie to us or cheat on us. That's what is REAL. A real man is one who needs only one woman, the one true love of his life to make him completely happy.

Your man should only have eyes for you, and he should let that be known every single day of your life.

Times don't need to change for the worse..Let me say something else folks, men can still pay for a woman's meal on the first date and open her car door, without expecting something in return.

Nowadays, if a woman doesn't pay her own way, then she's pretty much screwed, and when she finally adapts and learns to take care of herself, then she seems cold, standoffish, and feminist, and gets remarks..like, oh, you must have been treated badly..Us women can't win for losing, and when we do win, men try to interfere to make us feel inferior...I guess men feel threatened by smart, strong women, so when the woman does something that they don't like, they have to stoop to a different level by putting the woman down, or insulting her way of life, or the people already in her life.

When trying to have an online relationship, there can be much suspicion, doubt, confused feelings, and uncertainty..especially if people are hesitant to expose their identity. We are going on the person's words rather than their real life feelings and emotions, and frankly my dear, it's not worth it because identical words can have varied meanings when phrased differently.

I'm sticking to real life, where I see what I get, and I know what I'm getting is what I see, and I know it to be real and true. That's all I'll trust, the real, reality, here and now.

True love shouldn't be hard. It shouldn't be a guessing game. It shouldn't be a struggle. There shouldn't be foul words toward each other before you've even met in real life..If this be the case, then in my own personal opinion, I can say..It's not the right person for you. True love is understanding, encouraging, forgiving, compassionate, empathetic, motivating, inspiring..I know because I have someone in my life that has all these things..Always offering me these things, unconditionally, and I kept overlooking it because I wanted to have things my way. I felt like true love should be glamorous and all that hype..but ya know what, I've learned something very very important....

True love is exactly the opposite! It's making it through the worst times together and still being able to look at each other and just never want to look away. That's true love, supporting each other even when we don't deserve it. Even when we've been at our lowest..True, unconditional love is the comforting force that helps us get back up and keep moving forward.

Sometimes, true love can be so simple that we don't recognize it. We keep searching..searching, until we realize the search is pointless, a waste of time.

We don't have to seach for true love. True love finds us, and when it does, it shouldn't be like pulling teeth to make it work out and make it happen. It should flow and come natural for both people. It should be mutual, and there shouldn't be negative feelings or abusive words exchanged before a meet-up. That is an instant RED FLAG..Meaning...this is NOT the true love of your life. If someone can get angry at you before they even meet you, and assume negative things about you, your life, or the people in your life, then how could they love you when you first get up in the morning? How could they love you when you're sick, or when you need comfort and encouragement..and so on?

My advice..Before committing yourself to any type of a relationship on the internet, make sure you exhaust all options in real life, as that's always our best bet...And if you are experiencing any of the symptoms I mentioned, lol, and it's causing you to question your relationship, then get out of it and wait for what God has for you.

Maybe what God has for you has already been in your life and you just couldn't see it clearly. Open your mind, heart, and eyes, and take a good look around. Maybe you'll see now....for the very first time.

I wanted to take a minute to clear up one very important thing!! My work is based a lot on being a Christian and Loving the Message of Jesus Christ. He and his spirit stands for LOVE!! The purest kind of love that exists. If you know Jesus Christ, YOU KNOW what I'm talking about!
I'm not on the internet to get famous or win a popularity contest. I'm not here to see how many subscribers or "friends" I can collect...like some sort of prize...To be here for those reasons isn't worth it to me, I'd rather not be on the internet at all, if it's going to surround me with negative effects. I love all things positive and that is exaclty what Jesus Christ and my faith stands for.

If you have a problem with Christians, then you'll have a big problem with me!!....My faith is more important to me than any worldly thing. The world stops one day, but faith will take our soul on to a better place...A place that goes on forever and NEVER STOPS. Eternity..Heaven! It's real and it's waiting.

Death isn't an ending..It's a doorway into the next portal of existence. It's a time warp into another dimension..one that our humanly mind can't comprehend, but it's through the transition of death that our awareness is activated and the bigger picture comes into focus. It's then we realize, it was all true. Heaven and Hell, God and Satan..not just fantasy and fiction, but true...and waiting for each of us. We're all getting outta here one day, and there's only one of two places our spirit is going to go..............you get the point!!

Maybe life gives us clues..Maybe people give us clues. Right in front of us..so easy that it's hard. Hard to see, hard to grasp..like a feather floating in the wind. Unable to get your fingers around it. Every time you go to reach for it, the small gust you create with your hand just pushes it further away. Sort of like a beach ball in the ocean. The harder you try to get it, the further it floats away from you. This is driving me mad. My mind is walking on tacks...A train screeching on its tracks. HALT..STOP..I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. In my mind, There's a Door. I'm walking through, oh yeah. With each step, a heavy load. Burdened by something undisclosed. Who goes there I say, Let me Know.

When you let life be as it is..It will remain as it is. When you stand up and say what you believe...even if it's in a blog, vlog, or internet diary.
At least then you'll know you said..You knew it wasn't all in your head.

If everyone in the world took God's advice and Treated others as they wanted to be treated..The world would be an awesome place. If we all lived by that rule of thumb, no questions asked...Just treated each other how we wanted them to treat us, unconditionally..Not based on how they actually treated us, or how we felt like treating them at the time...but how we WANTED them to treat us...Then everyone would go around treating everyone lovely. We all want love and to be treated with respect and decency..That is what we should give to others. If we can't offer that, then what can we offer anymore? PEACE? LOVE? HAPPINESS? CONTENTMENT? Human emotional needs are a huge part of who we are as a species. Our souls carry the spirit of us. The spirit is what animates our awareness of self. It gives us knowledge of our being. We know we're alive, right...That comes from the spirit that exists in us, that exists in our psyche.

The human mind is a beautiful thing..as is the human spirit. They go hand in hand, working together, creating a being of intellect and knowledge of self. Together, they connect us to our own spiritual self. When we allow our minds to open, we can discover the truest answers to life. Ultimately, I believe one finds out, that question answers itself. There are no answers because if you're peaceful enough with self and content with the life you're living, there should be no question needing an answer. Total enlightenment comes when one's mind has opened to the point they no longer see themselves as a physical being, but as a spirit of love and nature. It is the very spirit of God that is in all of us. The same spirit that was in Jesus Christ. It's why he was sent here, to teach us of the spirit that exists in us. It was the miraculous spirit of love and nature that God wanted us to bond with. He wanted us to fall in love with it. If we fell in love with the spirit of it, then we would be falling in love with him...With his presence. He wants us to know where we come from. He wants us to seek the light.

The dark is comfortable for some people, but it can be a place of despair for others. I try to see it both ways and remember that one needs the other to exist. The dark is as dark as we see it and the light will shine as bright as we want.

Cyber Life, Lies, and Getting Passed Being Stumped, Oh My

I'm tired. My heart hurts and I cry. I'm so tired of trying to make things work out. I scream out...I'M SO TIRED...PLEASE GOD SAVE ME FROM MY OWN MISERY. I'm tired of taking bull from life. I'm tired of being strung along by love. Do you ever feel like you're stuck in one place? It's not moving forward, not going anywhere. You feel it, and it torments you like a claw-happy cat jumping on your back on the first day of the worst sunburn of your life...Pure Agony would be the best term to use. It's like being stuck at a dead end road..You're still walking though, so your nose keeps bumping the concrete wall in front of you..Preventing you from being able to walk on. You feel so determined to get passed it, you end up breaking your nose in a desperate attempt to "move on". You cry out in a dark room, but does anyone hear? HELP ME!! You walk in circles, trying to get out. With your arms stretched forward, in front of you, you keep walking into walls..No windows, no lights, no flesh, no sound..Only darkness..Stillness and the very breath of your soul. You can hear your own hum and feel your own vibe....You cry. Does anyone see? Does anyone feel what you feel?

We all need closure, from relationships and "cyber ships". We have to get passed things to be able to go on to the next part of our lives. Our spirits are not happy if they feel confined in a tight spot, or entrapped by imprisonment.

It's not fun wearing my heart and emotions on my sleeve in this cyber world of fakeness and lies..or having to explain all this to anyone. For me, now is the time in life for enlightenment. I want to learn and go forward, not dwell on petty things and pain of the past. I've wasted too much of my life already..being "wounded". Now I'm ready to live.

Do you ever feel like you're being lied to? Do you ever feel like someone is studying you, analyzing you, testing who you are as a person, for their own personal interest. Okay, what is it about the internet that makes someone paranoid?...I think maybe, just maybe..I've got a little case of paranoia after being on the internet for two years. I came here to get my work out there, trying to share my work with others. It's started turning into something else, and I'm not sure if it's agreeing with me anymore. People in real life say I need to break from the internet if it's going to make me cry and cause stress. I can get nervous if i feel overwhelmed by something or someone. Taking hate about my work is not what I'm talking about either. I learned to let that stuff roll off my back a long time ago. I'm talking about when it starts getting personal in a world that was designed to be deceptive...the web.

I'm not going to disclose my personal information and past emotional baggage to anyone on the internet, so don't bother asking me. I can barely determine who can really be trusted on the web and who is being straightforward, upfront, and honest about their identity. You can trust someone, then find out they're really someone else..taking on multiple identities..for whatever reasons. In this day and age, it's so easy to be someone else..and no one would ever know.

Like you, I wasn't born yesterday, so don't mistake me for a fool. If I'm nice and kind to someone, it's because I want to be. Don't mistake kindness for weakness, thinking you can walk all over me...and I won't be none the wiser. Don't play games with me thinking I'll never know. I sense more that I'm given credit for. I'm uncomfortable with lies. With the way everything is fake in the cyber world, some people actually are under the impression, it's okay to lie...or that it's okay to pretend to be someone else and lead someone on under a fake identity.

IT'S NOT OK!!!!!! It's not right. Life does this thing where it loves to come back on you..and lies are the worst. When they show their ugly face, it's not pleasant. I have a radar...but it's not always so great. Sometimes, I miss things I should pick up on, and sometimes I get it completely wrong the other way around...Thinking I know something, when in fact, I don't.

Honestly, I don't want to spend my time talking about these things..I'd rather be writing blogs of positive nature..but there are moments when I'm beside myself, when I feel at the end of my rope. I feel cooked and simmered over...Too late. Now I have to play it by ear. Yeah, not always a great idea either. Some situations need more nurturing and guidance. What makes me feel frustrated?...I can't tell what my situation is. How or to who I need to be giving the nurturing. I'm stumped.

I appreciate the internet, and I'm grateful for what it's enabled me to do, don't get me wrong...but like everything else in life, it's a two-way lane...like dark and light..hot and cold, good and bad..There's great things about the internet and there's bad things. Trouble is knowing which is which, so you can avoid the bad. If you want to come to the internet for work and professional reasons, be weary of the downside. Think positive and keep a positive attitude, but always be on guard with a backbone. It's great to make friends, but also be cautious when making cyber friends, especially if you're a youth.

My sister says she won't talk to anyone on the internet unless they're upfront and honest about their identity. If they're hesitant to show you who they are. If they make excuses about their pictures and letting u see them, it's because they have something to hide. Don't be fooled. PLEASE. Because I'm nice and treat people accordingly, doesn't mean I'm bait for intimidation or manipulation. If you dont' want to be honest and straightforward about who you are...the real you, the real life you, then don't come around asking me to give out that kind of information. I'm not going to disclose myself to someone who may or may not be around the next time I go to talk to them. Some peeps have ways of disappearing from their accounts, making a new one the next day as someone else...just to contact you again. Funny thing is...it's like you sense them in both identities. Really, I don't know how to explain any of this the way I want to. The internet can be a dark place full of uncertainty. The truth is..cyber life is not REAL LIFE and it never will be. I choose real life. Jesus was sent here for this very reason...HOPE! No matter what, everything will be OK.

Stick close to what you know to be the truth and you'll choose the right path. I just hope I can follow my own advice.

Another thing.....

Yeah...so I could spend this time talking about all the things I find wrong with the world...Like the economic system, the ever-failing healthcare system and lack of equal and proper medical care, the increasing rates of poverty, jobless, homeless, and people who are dying from untreated illnesses or denied insurance claims. I could discuss the ongoing war that seems to have no end in sight and the way it was brought about by the very governments who say they are for the people. I could share many of my opinions with you.

I could go even deeper to speak of the origins of life and how we all come from specks of dust in the universe..spun together so fast and so densly compacted within itself, that it makes up everything and everything makes up it. Minute particles so small, that it's invisble to the naked eye and unthinkable to the human mind, but it is us and we are it. I could talk about how modern-day religion is corrupted and fake, shallow, and lost its way, which is causing souls to lose their way.

I could mention how so many are starved for redemption, starved for hope, starved for love, starved for something better, anything better. So many are starved for answers, fumbling in the dark for the road back to the light. I could talk about how it breaks my heart to see our innocent youth being the victims of sex-hungry cyber predators and lurking stalkers and molestors.

I could painfully describe to you how God is cruel and cold because the world is so treacherous. I could be a big whiny baby all day and all night, but I make a choice to be who I am. I make a choice to think positive and act positive. I choose the influence I have on others with the way I act, the way I speak....The gratitude, compassion, respect, and generosity I show toward others when interacting in a community or home environment. I prefer no debating or conversing about such issues that cause anger and hostility. It's not good for the spirit.

I could go on and on and on and on...forever really. But why should I waste my time crying out unto a world about how bad it is. What good is that going to do anybody? You can't dry someone's tears with tears of your own, but you can offer them a "tissue"...That tissue could be the best thing to ever happen to them. It could be their ray of hope shining in the distance. What good does it do to cry about the glass being half-empty, when we should see it half-full in the first place and at all times.

There is never a moment when we should see the glass empty or half-empty. Life is an experience and it's meant for experiencing fully, not running on empty..not running on negative thoughts, feelings and emotions. That'll only take us to the nearest rest stop. Where will we get from there if our tank is on empty?

If we really want to run the race of our life and run it with grace..run it in the positive lane.

The simple fact is..we live in a dark world. The sunlight is like a lightbulb that gets switched on from time to time to give us a taste of what the beautiful light is like. When the light goes out, we live in a dark world.

The best way to light up that darkness is with love of heart and warmth of soul.

Don't ever let anyone change your beliefs, ideals, morals, or goals. Don't take any crap from anyone. Stay true to yourself because the world can be deceptive. Nowadays, with the way the internet promotes people to create "alternate identities" to protect their "real identity"...We've all gone mad. I can be one hundred different people if I had enough time and means. I could create as many identities as I wanted, and be whomever I wished to be in cyber life. The internet makes it very easy for ANYONE to be ANYONE. Get a clue and don't be gullable to anybody trying to pull the wool over your eyes.

Keep them wide open at all times. If you close them for a second, be sure when you open them, you also open your mind.

Life is an eye-opening, mind-opening experience, and it's an experience that's a constant changing process. It's why the Earth rotates in cycles. It's why the climate runs in seasons. It's why animals breed during certan times of year..Because life is a constant, yet it's a variable. It balances itself between good and evil, between water and fire, between air and earth. It balances itself between light and dark. Yes, we're all a part of it, and Yes, it's where we originate from, but free will also allows us to set ourselves apart from it...if need be and if that's what we choose for ourselves.

God made us to be who we are...Good and Bad, we choose. People ask, why does God allow poverty? God doesn't allow poverty, people allow poverty. People create poverty through greed. There is enough resources in the world, where everyone should be able to live a decent life. Not only a handful of people should get to live a good life, while the rest of the world suffers. God created a planet that had plenty of resources for us all, with plenty to go around..an abundance. It was the rich, greedy man who got the bright idea to take it all for himself, through war and governmental systems. If everyone in the world, had a positve, sharing, I can do attitude, who believed in helping their fellow human....If everyone believed in goodness and hope and excercising those qualities toward each other in our everyday lives, then there would most likely be no poverty, hunger, homelessness, and such conditions of the human race, that continually hold us back, suppress us, and keep us down. If everyone in the entire world gave as much as they got, or how much they wanted to get, it'd probably be a happier place for everyone, but Greed, Lust, Envy...Sins of Man keep us in a state of limbo. Also, not good for the spirit.

People get caught up in the outer layers and surface of an ideal and of life. We see what we want to see, what the outer layers of our being allow us to process with our mind's awareness.

We know we're here, we know we exist, we also know we can make a choice between good and bad. It's up to us. We make the choices we make, and humanity suffers for it, then we try to blame God. It's all his fault, because humans are so full of themselves, that we think, if something bad happens, God allowed it..boohoohoo...How about this one?...If something bad happens, it's because a human somewhere in the world just did something bad to make it happen. It was most likely the act of a human being that produced negative results. Then we say...na, it couldn't have been us. We didn't do it...It was God, he's the bad guy who does it all.

People, we've got to wake up and take responsibility for our own actions. Quit blaming others, quit blaming our parents, quit blaming life, quit blaming the goverment, quit blaming the internet, quit blaming religion, quit blaming God. It's us, guys...We're the ones here, living this life, breathing this air. God can only help us, which he does...He keeps us in this universe. He gives us the sun, moon, stars, water, and air everyday we are alive. He keeps us in his grace because we are still here, thriving.

Name one thing in your life that just appeared, with no logical explanation of where it originated. Do you wake up one morning and see a brand new, shiny car in your driveway? You ask everyone where did it come from. No one knows..they say it just appeared out of thin air. You say, no way..how could that be possible? You know nothing just appears out of thin air...Yet, many believe that Earth and everything in our universe just appeared out of thin air.......uhhhh, yeah, ok.

So in summing up my tidbits for today....I gotta say, don't come along trying to change my beliefs. I've believed this way for as long as I can remember and it's doing me just fine. I don't need fixing. I don't need justification. I don't need to prove myself to anyone.

I am Real...I do not hide behind words on a screen..I don't want to be anyone's dream, because the only dream is the way you see me.

If you don't see the real me, then you don't know me...I'll stay as I am. I like me, and my faith is free.

There is true beauty in this world...Many levels of true beauty. I think the wonder of mother nature, like the sky, trees, mountains, and ocean, are on the highest levels of true beauty. I think Philosophies, Concepts, and Ideals can be considered on the high levels of beautiful..If they are intended to better the world and derive from a place of goodness within the heart. I think a human being, in the physical flesh, based on the outwardly appearance can be on a high level of beautiful. There are physically beautiful people in this world, who are plain and simple, pleasant to gaze upon. God just blessed some people that way, I suppose.

Of all the levels of "beautiful" in the world...I think there is one thing that beats them all. I think there is one thing that outshines, outlasts, outdoes everything else on all levels of beauty.

The Human Spirit

The soul within us that gives us an awareness of our beings. Gives us an awareness of our own existence. It differs us from anything else on this planet. It differs us from all other beautiful and wonderous acts and creatures of mother nature. It differs us from the water we drink, the air we breathe, the sun that warms us. It differs us from the animals we love or the beautiful mountaintops that grace us with their magestic presence.

We have an animated spirit within ourselves that understands we have a purpose, a reason. I believe that's why people are born with a longing and desire. It is because we each are born knowing we have a purpose, but sometimes, in the lives of some, their purpose and reason is suppressed by the environment and society around them. Some people don't get to fulfill their purpose because they were never given the chance. It being no one's fault really..but rather just circumstances of life. Unfortunate circumstances, that I don't wish upon anyone.

The Human Mind is the most powerful computer on Earth and it's inside our heads. When you team your mind and your spirit together, anything is possible when you believe in yourself and when you believe in your dream.

Don't take your dream for granted. It needs to be nurtured. Look for inspiration everyday, in everything you do. Look for the positive and humorous side of life..because there's where you'll find joy. Joy that will carry you through the days when you feel like you're not going to make it. Like you'd rather just give up. DON'T

I thought I knew how to handle things in my life..lolol..but I don't. I try, and for that, I'm at peace with it. I love the idea of living life to the fullest and not having any regrets...Yet, why does there seem to be something still. What do I mean by that..Well..hmmmmm, I'm not really sure myself.

My heart's in the right place. I enjoy being kind to people and setting an example of goodness and love..hahaha. Some people would call me a "hippie chick"...Maybe I am, and I'm okay with me. It's being afraid of letting others get to know the real me, that's where I get shy and pull back. A heart full of love with so much to give..I believe that's the description for all of us.

Our love has been suppressed for so long, that we forget it's so easy and feels so good. The thing is..I say this stuff, then in my own personal life, I get afraid, weak, fragile, delicate, stubborn...The list goes on. I can say one thing, then do I find the courage in my heart to follow through? I don't know. I guess you could say I've had my share of broken heart, and that makes me cautious of letting people in. I'm learning to open up to the very thing I ask of others...unconditional, with no strings attached...TRUE LOVE

The internet is a world of words and pictures. Because it's a world of words, it takes us into different mindframes. A different state of mind. It's hard not to make assumptions in the cyber life because we have to draw our own conclusions based on reading someone else's words. With our own imagination, we have to imagine their expression when they are saying what we read. Because language is complex, one word used with different facial expressions and body language, can be said or typed to mean two totally different things. It's hard, sometimes, to get an idea of what someone is meaning with the words they are saying. I guess that's why it's great to use "smileys" and such..lolo..but still...Nothing can replace the true and real interaction of basic human communication principles...Body language, voice and speech patterns, facial expressions..There are many factors that we use during communication that the cyber world doesn't portray as well.

If you have someone you care about or someone you love, and it's only cyber, don't lose hope. Everything will be ok. You'll make it through, no matter.

I get so caught up in the passion I feel for things that I forget to laugh and lighten uP! I can't stand being serious all the time. After a bit, it brings a frown to my face. I'd rather smile and feel joy...Like those summers as a kid...Playing in the backyard just as the sun was going down. That faint smell of honeysuckle lingering in the air. Crickets singing in the midst of the tall, green grass. The sky has hues of glorious colors as the sun tucks itself in for the night. Fireflies sparkle everywhere...Under the trees, here, there..They twinkle with the sweetest little glow in the ever-growing darkness. That moment stays in my mind forever. Though I'm grown, I've never forgotten it. I relive it every chance I get because it reminds me of how I once was...carefree and happy. Who says when we grow up, we have to grow uPtight? LAUGH!!

I was aksed this today......A) How old were you when someone told you there was a God B) Why didn't you ask for proof?

I wasn't taught there's a God. There was never anyone to tell me there's a God. It's something I personally choose to believe in. It's faith in the things I can't see like the air. Without air my body would die, so I know my physical life depends on something I can't see. It's the same thing for my soul. The existence & continuation of it depends on something I can't see..GOD & his spirit. It's in all of us. He doesn't want us fighting, but rather open our minds to the possibility of him!

I don't need proof that God exists. Just like I don't need proof that air exists. I know I depend on it and must breathe air to stay alive. I apply the same way of thinking to the "bigger picture" of LIFE.

I don't need proof that God exists because I know that I depend on him and need him for the survival of my soul.

What does it hurt to believe in something bigger and better than this life. It can't hurt to believe, but it can hurt to NOT believe.

Let's say there is no afterlife...No Heaven or Hell, and while we're here on EARTH living our lives, we choose to believe in God and Heaven, but then it turns out those things don't exist and we just go to sleep when we die....Then it didn't hurt anything to believe while we lived, and it also brought us peace and happiness during the journey.

Let's say Heaven and Hell does exist, and they are, in fact, for real. When we die, there is an afterlife and a place for our souls, our spirits to continue on. Let's say it's real. If we choose to live a life of not believing in it, then we lose a lot when we pass on. We lose your soul.

The physical body dies without air and the spirit of our soul dies without God. We die, we perish in an afterworld of sorrow and pain, unending.

If we choose to believe in the positive, the good, the light at the end of the tunnel. If we choose to believe in a "better place" that God has waiting for us. If we choose to believe in the rewards of our creator, then it can't hurt anything, and we are also choosing eternal life. We are choosing for our souls to continue on and be a part of something greater than any of us.

God is Everything...If you can see a tree outside, blowing in the wind, then you've saw God.
If you can see the Ocean's vastness, you've saw God.
If you can see the sun shining on the grass, and butterflies fluttering by, you've saw God..Do not deny.
If you see the birds flying about the sky or snow falling on a winter night, you've saw God.
If you see yourself and know you are alive, you see God and all will be all right.
God loves you, God loves I....Until the very ending of things, until the end of all time.

I don't know...Have you ever believed in something soooooo much you could see a picture of it in your head?..As if you already saw it playing out.....OMG....If you live your life this way...STOP...Stop now!!!...lolol.. I do this, but I'm finding something out........

Having dreams and planning for your future is one thing...Setting rational goals to achieve is fabulous, but don't get carried away in your own dreams to the point you lose touch with reality. Don't get your hopes too high on something that involves a lot of uncertainty because it's like walking on thin ice. At any time, you could fall through and the world you'd imagined for yourself would come crashing around you as you both plunged to an icy-cold death...lolololol...yes, I love being dramatic!!!

I have a lot to say because I think a lot about everything, probably too much. I think about the future of the world. I think about the 2012 Issue and the Mayan Calender. I think about the future of our way of life, the people of the world and if there will be Peace and Prosperity for all instead of just a handful of lucky ones.

I think about the Medical Care Issue and if there'll be EQUAL and PROPER Medical for all instead of the deteriorating state it's in during present day. I wonder about our Education System and the well-being of the minds of our youth, our children. So many young people out there nowadays are angry and turning to violence as ways to vent and release pent-up aggression. So many incidences of kids beating one another up to broadcast on video or taking guns to schools and opening fire on one another.

I wonder...Where did the innocence go? When did we allow the innocence of our children to be stolen? We've been their voices, and we allowed them to be victimized by the society we've created. I think of the future of my own children. I shield them from the internet, I talk with them about the issues children need to know of. I try to prepare them for the world they live in, but even I wonder about the future we are creating for them.

With Global Warming, The Failing Economy and the "Recession" we've been experiencing. With rising prices, more big Corporations going Bankrupt and needing "bailouts"...more families losing their homes and workers losing their jobs. More WAR......everywhere...that never seems to end.

Like I said.....I probably think too much....hahahah I love my blog!!!! When I start thinking too much, I write it all here! It's the best way to release the "baggage" of our mind. The thoughts of the day, the problems we encountered, the moments we laughed..Isn't that what sets us apart from every other thing on the planet.....

Our spirit...the Human Spirit...our memories, our hopes, dreams, aspirations, thoughts, doubts, beliefs...We are who we are, and everything will be as it should. At the end of the day, I leave everything up to God...and in that, I find comfort to rest easy. I enjoy talking about my thoughts. It draws me closer to the very world I think about. It draws me closer to YOU. Thank YOU for being here! Thank you for reading.

Free will is a gift, and we're given a voice and independent natures so that we may express ourselves to one another and communicate our hearts and souls. It's the beauty of us. To be creative, curious creatures. God made us this way for a reason. He wanted us to go forth and prosper on this Earth...But if he would not have made us curious, creative, and independent..We'd never progressed any further than the very spot he created us in.

do you ever wake up one day just totally feeling confused and out of whack? not sure of where you belong or why you're here.

like...even though it's sunshiny all around, there seems to hover a dark and foreboding gray cloud of despair...just lurking and waiting to pounce when you are at your weakest. just waiting for the right time to strike.....then bam!!

if you know the feeling....i felt like this on friday, yesterday. i just couldn't shake it. the world around me went on as normal, yet in my immediate surroundings, above me, below me, touching my sides...i could feel the pressure....heavy and burdensome, as though its entire purpose and will was to bring me down, break my spirit....lol...like the whole universe was out to get me...haha

do you ever have days like that?

i don't know what brought it on...i don't really know why i felt so blue, but i couldn't seem to shake the feeling. i mean, other than feeling blue emotionally, i felt fine. most days, i'm determined to keep a positive outlook and do my best to be cheerful and optimistic, but this was one of those days that just overwhelmed me....it threw me completely off balance. i didn't understand my own emotions and why i was feeling them....is that strange or what?.....maybe i'm normal, and it was just one of those days that we all have from time to time.

no matter, i don't like having them, and i hope days like that never return. i don't know about you, but i like when the sun shines on me and all around me.

Jennifer D. Slayton, Jadee Slayton, Hearing Impaired Singer/Songwriter, Artist of All Kinds. Member of ASCAP. I have three demos out of Nashville, TN for Original Lyrics (though, that is not what I have playing here) After graduating college, I obtained my Managing Cosmetology License in the state of WV, which I still hold. I was nominated for inclusion in the 2007-2008 "Honors Edition" of the Cambridge Who’s Who among Executive and Professional Women.

My very first painting! I painted this around age 6-7. I even knew to sign the back. I’ve always been an Artist and always will :)

In the past three years, I have sold over three hundred paintings worldwide to both private and corporate collections. You can find my work across the USA, (including Hawaii and Puerto Rico) Europe, Australia, Canada, and more. In 2005-2007 I achieved top-seller status for the Non-Profit Org., Feed the Children and eBay Powerseller status for sales of my Original Artwork. I have received achievement awards for my Original poetry, which has been published to private collections. My Original Oil Painting and Poem, "The Soldier" sold in 2005 and was dedicated to Fort Carson, USA to be displayed in a place of honor.

I worked hair/wigs with Bernia Ardia of Las Vegas on the Kiss Me Kate Musical. I also worked wig and wardrobe for many other theatrical productions such as Seussical the Musical, Grease, Fame, David Copperfield, plus more. I worked stagehand for concerts such as Toby Keith, Bob the Builder, and more.

Besides Music and Art, I enjoy being a Mom, being a Christian, Poetry, Writing, Photography, Web Art and Design (I make my own banners, backgrounds, logos, and such) and Philanthropy. I love a GOOD CAUSE!

Jadee’s "Create Yourself, Don’t Hate Yourself" Campaign

I write, sing, and perform my Original Songs. For the past 10 months I have been creating and editing my own videos for the internet. I record with my digital camera, my guitar, microphone, and amp until I can get recording equipment. So mostly what you’re hearing with my music now is its roots...its rawness. My Soul!

I have loved music since early childhood. When I was about five, my parents bought me a little wooden piano, made just like a real piano, only it was made small for a child. I would play on that little piano for hours. It was a best friend of mine during those times! One of my best memories was dressing up as Minnie Pearl and reenacting a scene from the Grand Ole Opry. I was about eight, maybe nine years old, and had I found a hat and placed what I thought looked like a tag hanging down in front. I was putting on a show in the evening for my mom and sister, and when my sister introduced me, I came out with my hat and said, "I’m Pearly More". I said her name backwards, and everyone laughed, so it embarrassed me. Thinking back on it now, I laugh too.

When I was old enough, I was singing school Christmas songs in front of the tree during holiday time, per my mom’s request. She would have me sing for her and the family. Though my mom has been deaf all my life, she always wanted to hear me sing. She couldn’t really hear me with her ears, but she heard me with her heart. Now, she has a cochlear implant, but I’ve never sang for her. That’s something I’m gonna have to do! They say I’ll need a cochlear implant one day, as my loss is progressive. No matter, I’m gonna sing!

After trying out and making it, All County Choir was my favorite subject in school..lol, and I was singing in my spare time in church on Sundays and such. My two cousins and I would practice each week so we could get up in front of the church and sing "Jesus Be a Fence All Around Me". (My favorite song of all time, the first song I sang in a public performance around age six) I played the flute in junior high, but didn’t care for it much. Now, I enjoy playing the guitar, electric and acoustic, and the piano and keyboard (the piano is my favorite instrument) I am self-taught in all aspects of my art. Funny thing is....I play by ear, but I can’t hear very well. Where’s the logic in that..lol

When I was seventeen, I started losing my hearing due to hereditary, progressive nerve deafness. (My mom and brother are deaf and hearing impaired as well) I had to wear my first hearing aid, and I had to adapt with what that required of me. Change and acceptance of myself and what made me different. I thought...my passion, the one thing in life I’d rather do more than any other, was unattainable (or so I had myself believing)....

I thought, who hears of a singer who can’t hear? The fear of needing my hearing to make music, but not having it, scared and discouraged me from following my dreams. I chose to express my artistic desires through other outlets that didn’t require my hearing. Cosmetology was the beginning, then, I became an ebay powerseller for sales of my Original FireFly Artwork, The FireFly Painter (JadeeValleyGallery) I have sold over three hundred paintings worldwide to private and corporate collections. But still, no matter what I did, I felt like something was missing. Like I wasn’t doing the right thing in life, and it was making me miserable.

Then, in the past year, I realized....time was going by and I still had the same lifelong dream.....TO SING!! it was never going away, it wasn’t fading or getting faint in my heart...it was still there, the same it had always been my entire life. I wanted to sing and make music! As much as I love painting on canvas and creating artwork, it was boring me, and I would catch myself thinking of music. I was still afraid because of the hearing impairment, but finally, I came to a conclusion...Music doesn’t come from the ears, it comes from the heart and soul!

Equipped with with plenty of soul and lots of heart, I decided to follow that dream of mine! So here I am :)
